Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.1 These test methods cover the assay of organic peroxides. Two procedures are given, depending upon the ease of reduction:<\/p>\n 1.1.1 Sodium Iodide, Room Temperature Test Method<\/span>,<\/span> for organic peroxides easy to reduce, and<\/p>\n 1.1.2 Sodium Iodide, 60\u00b0<\/span>C Test Method<\/span>,<\/span> for organic peroxides that are moderately stable.<\/p>\n 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.<\/p>\n 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
