It is expected that non-mandatory high performance levels will be included in future editions of this Standard as per final ENERGY STAR\u00ae specifications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span>CSA Group acknowledges that the development of this Standard was made possible, in part, by the financial support of Efficiency Nova Scotia, Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec, Manitoba Hydro, Natural Resources Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Energy, the Ontario Power Authority, and SaskPower.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span>1.1<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This Standard defines minimum energy efficiency and performance requirements for light emitting diode (LED) lamps with an ANSI or IEC standardized base that are designed to connect to a low-voltage or branch circuit via a lampholder.
