An example of a form for recording sampling data is provided in an appendix.  <\/p>\n<p><b>Scope<\/b><\/p>\n<p> This Standard is a guide to the methods recommended for taking samples from higher rank coal seams in the ground, whether from exploration tenements, or from operating underground or open-cut mines.
