{"id":228747,"date":"2024-10-19T14:52:30","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T14:52:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-60335-2-62003a132013\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T08:58:32","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T08:58:32","slug":"bs-en-60335-2-62003a132013","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-60335-2-62003a132013\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 60335-2-6:2003+A13:2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This clause of Part 1 is replaced by the following.<\/p>\n<p>This International Standard deals with the safety of stationary electric cooking ranges, hobs, ovens and similar appliances for household use, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances connected between one phase and neutral, and 480 V for other appliances.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE 101 Examples of appliances that are within the scope of this standard are<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>griddles;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>grills;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>induction hobs;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>steam ovens.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE 102 Attention is drawn to the fact that<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>for appliances intended to be used in vehicles or on board ships or aircraft, additional requirements may be necessary;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>in many countries additional requirements are specified by the national health authorities, the national authorities responsible for the protection of labour, the national water supply authorities and similar authorities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE 103 This standard does not apply to<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>appliances intended for commercial catering;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>appliances intended to be used in locations where special conditions prevail, such as the presence of a corrosive or explosive atmosphere (dust, vapour or gas);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>grills, toasters and similar portable cooking appliances (IEC 60335-2-9);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>microwave ovens (IEC 60335-2-25).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE Z101 For appliances that are supplied with gas, EN 30 is also applicable.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Household and similar electrical appliances.
