{"id":223043,"date":"2024-10-19T14:28:58","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T14:28:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-20-30404302-dc-2020\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T08:09:05","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T08:09:05","slug":"bsi-20-30404302-dc-2020","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-20-30404302-dc-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI 20\/30404302 DC 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document specifies a test method to establish the uplift resistance of installed clay or concrete tiles for roofing, complying with the relevant product standard, <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;490<\/span><\/span> or <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;1304<\/span><\/span>, which are unfixed or mechanically fixed to the substructure.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE\n <\/div>\n<p>The test method has been developed for clay or concrete tiles for roofing, but can apply to other discontinuously laid small elements, such as: slates; fibre cement slates; stones; and, adopted accordingly, to photovoltaic and solar thermal panels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The test method is applicable to mechanical fixings such as clips, hooks, screws and nails.<\/p>\n<p>The method is not applicable to fixed tiles having fixing patterns with less than every third tile fixed.<\/p>\n<p>The test method is not applicable to under and over tiles.
