{"id":218474,"date":"2024-10-19T14:10:24","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T14:10:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-iso-22282-32012\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T07:24:58","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T07:24:58","slug":"bs-en-iso-22282-32012","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-iso-22282-32012\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN ISO 22282-3:2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This part of ISO&nbsp;22282 specifies the requirements for water pressures tests (WPT) carried out in boreholes drilled into rock as part of geotechnical investigation and testing according to EN&nbsp;1997-1 and EN&nbsp;1997-2.<\/p>\n<p>The tests are used to investigate the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>hydraulic properties of the rock mass, which are mainly governed by discontinuities;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>absorption capacity of the rock mass;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>tightness of the rock mass;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>effectiveness of grouting;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>geomechanical behaviour, e.g. hydrofracturing, hydrojacking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Many effects of the geohydraulic tests are not only influenced by the ground itself, but stem from the testing procedure. Historically, the water pressure test was evaluated based on the assumption that the stationary behaviour was achieved. Recent advances in geohydraulics have shown that transient phenomena are often present. This part of ISO&nbsp;22282 attempts to address the limitations of certain testing procedures without restricting the required equipment too stringently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Geotechnical investigation and testing.
