Testing is done over the maximum possible area of the dielectric footwear without permitting flashover between electrodes.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00006\">1.2 The use and maintenance of dielectric footwear is beyond the scope of this test method.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00007\">1.3 <span class=\"italic\">This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
