ESDU PERF RP 1/1 gives formulae derived using the method of ESDU PERF RP 1/0 for the incremental correction of flight measured level speed data to temperatures and weights differing from those applying at the time of test. Two temperature correction cases are considered: one above full throttle height and one below. For the latter and for weight correction, graphs (derived from simple formulae that are also given) respectively provide the changes in equivalent airspeed for a 1 K temperature change and for a 1 per cent change in weight. Above full throttle height the measured pressure height is corrected to account for the temperature change rather than the speed, except for range tests when speed is corrected in a similar manner to that adopted for results obtained below full throttle height. A worked example illustrates the use of the method.
