Description

This International Standard gives a nomenclature in English, French and Russian of assembly tools for screws and nuts.

NOTE – In addition to terms used in the three official ISO languages (English, French and Russian), this International Standard gives the equivalent terms in German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish and Czech; these terms are published under the responsibility of the member bodies for Germany, F.R. (DIN), Austria (ON), Switzerland (SNV), Italy (UNI), Spain (IRANOR), Sweden (SIS) and Czechoslovakia (CSN). However, only the terms given in the official languages may be considered as ISO terms.

Nomenclature for hand-operated assembly tools for screws and nuts in the form of illustration, and designation in English, French and Russian, and an Annex gives the equivalent terms in German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish and Czechoslovakian.
